Amicus Mobile is the revolutionary add-on to Amicus Attorney 2008 Premium Edition. Running Amicus on any PDA or Smartphone that uses Windows Mobile, Amicus Mobile is a miniature version of Amicus Attorney. Using your cellular or wireless network it connects real-time all-the-time to your Amicus Attorney Server.

Stay Connected At All Times

Use Amicus Mobile like you would your Amicus Attorney workstation. You can do your time entries while on the road - they go on the file at the office, even though you are still away. Unexpectedly need to contact people on a file? No problem. Make a note or add an appointment on a file, and your colleagues back at the office see it right away. Send a sticky to a partner - real-time. Everything you do or change happens not only on your PDA, but within moments back at the office as well.

It works both ways, so you keep in touch with what is happening at the office while you are away. For example, if your colleague adds a party to a file, you can see them right away. Or if your assistant takes a phone message for you, the message appears in your Call Center on your PDA. Return the call with a click of your thumb.

Manage Incoming and Outgoing Calls

PDAs are more than just handheld organizers - they are also telephones. Increasingly, business calls take place on mobile phones, which means that some business calls do not get recorded since you are on the move when they take place.

Here's where Amicus Mobile really shines. Every time you make or receive a call on your mobile phone, Amicus Mobile is there in the background. At the end of the call, it offers to make an Amicus Phone Call record for you, so your notes go onto the appropriate file. PLUS, Amicus Mobile then does a time entry for that call on your mobile phone, with everything possible filled in for you. Click OK, and you're back on the golf tee - while your notes and time entry are already on the client's file back at the office.

File information wherever you need it

Amicus Mobile lets you view your entire file index and lets you view your files wherever you are on your mobile device. While you can't do everything you can from your office computer, you can see and do all the basics such as view all people on each case, the ability to email, call, add contacts, make notes, create tasks, set appointments or do time entries.
Bill for all your Time

Now you can bill for all your time, regardless of where you are. Not only does Amicus Mobile allow you to automatically bill for all incoming and outgoing phone calls, you can also record time entries for other activities while on the go.

Create time entries on any file while away from the office. You can even view lists of unposted time entries by date.

Mobile Communications

The Amicus Call Center lets you view a list of all of today's Calls and Phone Messages plus any other outstanding communications. Stay on top of all of your calls. If a colleague back at the office sends you a phone message, it too appears in Amicus Mobile, and you can return the call and keep a record of it all from your mobile device.

Contacts can also be marked personal so that when a call comes in from home, Amicus doesn't try to keep a record of it.

Notes and Stickies while on the go

The Notes module in Amicus Mobile lets you view all of today's notes plus other outstanding unassociated notes. Create notes on anything at any time and associate them to a file or contact, or leave them unassigned.

You can also stay in touch with other Amicus users with the ability to send and receive stickies (instant messages) on your handheld.

With the power of the notes module, when you are back in the office, you can optionally convert any of the notes into other record types.

Calendaring Made Easy

Amicus Mobile uses the calendar built into your PDA, since these are so nicely integrated with your PDA hardware - but contains real-time Amicus Data.

Using the Outlook Calendar Synchronization with Amicus Attorney, any calendar event created, whether on your handheld or in Amicus Attorney, is automatically synchronized. Create calendar appointments and tasks right from a file on your handheld. You can also see any calendar entries that your colleagues back at the office may have scheduled for you. With Amicus Mobile you are never out of the loop.

The People in your Practice

Like the Calendar integration, Amicus Mobile uses the contact manager built into your PDA because of the existing integration already built into the handheld unit. All of your Amicus Attorney contacts and firm members can be accessible while on the road. If you wish, you could even view your entire rolodex while away from the office. Because you are connected to the server in the office, if a colleague corrects a phone number, or adds new contact details, you'll have immediate access to the changes. Using the Outlook Contact Synchronization with Amicus Attorney, contact information created on a handheld or in Amicus Attorney is automatically shared.
Work the Way You Do

Amicus Mobile connects real-time all-the-time to your Amicus server. Wherever you are and whatever you are doing, you are connected to your Amicus. If you are out of range of a cell-phone signal, you can also work with Amicus Mobile offline.

A variety of preferences and setting let you use Amicus Mobile the way you want.

With Amicus Mobile you can Do More, Bill More, and Go Anywhere You Want To Go....
